4 decades ago, Danish stoneworker William Hansen began making cast stone ornaments as a retirement hobby. As public interest in gardening grew, so did his business.
Four decades ago, William Hansen, a Danish-trained mason and recent retiree from his Ottawa-based construction business, steered his knowledge and love of working with the medium of concrete into the production of hand-made garden ornaments and decor.
Since 1979, Hansen’s has accumulated one of the largest selections of concrete decor and statues in the Ottawa Valley! We have concrete bird baths, custom fountains, garden urns and planters, garden decor and sundials, garden benches and tables, pagodas and lanterns, concrete garden edging/borders, concrete patio stones and pavers, decorative statues such as: various animals (birds, rabbits, dogs, etc.), gargoyles, cherubs, religious icons, and modern shapes - just to list a few.
We also have a great collection of antique weathered, mossy concrete decor and statues available for designers and collectors!
